AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

 

Our objectives are to:

  1. Improve the health and well-being of women, infants, children through innovative SRH information and services
  2. Provide information and services that will increase young people’s access to – and the quality of – reproductive health services by developing, expanding and institutionalizing youth-friendly services in a variety of settings
  3. Strengthen the institutional capacity of the community oriented structures so they can better plan, implement, manage, and sustain programs and services.
  4. Enhance integration of sexual and reproductive health including HIV/AIDS into existing livelihood skills development
  5. Enhance training programs for youth to provide youth-to-youth community based activities.
  6. Support meaningful improvement in the social, legal and policy environment for access to comprehensive sexual reproductive health and rights
  7. Conduct and carry out research on the various challenging issues facing women’s health in Nigeria and make recommendations for improvements
  8.    Act as an information and reference centre on women’s reproductive health in Nigeria.
  9. Provide financial support for joint activities and action research in health to women’s organizations, in particular but not limited to those at the grassroots level.
  10. Provide support for the amelioration of the negative impact of widowhood.
  11. Support efforts geared towards reducing the spread and mitigating the impact of STD/HIV/AIDS among women.
  12.
