Our objectives are to:
- Improve the health and well-being of women, infants, children through innovative SRH information and services
- Provide information and services that will increase young people’s access to – and the quality of – reproductive health services by developing, expanding and institutionalizing youth-friendly services in a variety of settings
- Strengthen the institutional capacity of the community oriented structures so they can better plan, implement, manage, and sustain programs and services.
- Enhance integration of sexual and reproductive health including HIV/AIDS into existing livelihood skills development
- Enhance training programs for youth to provide youth-to-youth community based activities.
- Support meaningful improvement in the social, legal and policy environment for access to comprehensive sexual reproductive health and rights
- Conduct and carry out research on the various challenging issues facing women’s health in Nigeria and make recommendations for improvements
- Act as an information and reference centre on women’s reproductive health in Nigeria.
- Provide financial support for joint activities and action research in health to women’s organizations, in particular but not limited to those at the grassroots level.
- Provide support for the amelioration of the negative impact of widowhood.
- Support efforts geared towards reducing the spread and mitigating the impact of STD/HIV/AIDS among women.
- Support economic and social engineering activities aimed at empowering women and improving their social status. OUR CORE AREAS INCLUDE
